Eaton Electrical Canada Announces Price Increase

Eaton Electrical announces a List Price increase effective Monday September 11th, 2006 on Standard Distribution, Industrial Control and Engineered products. The average increase will be 3% on Standard Products and 6% on Engineered Products.

While Eaton Electrical makes every effort to minimize price increases to our customers, all manufacturers have continued to experience continued increases and inflationary pressures in many key raw materials used in electrical products, notably aluminum, copper, and petroleum. Soaring global demand, constraints on supply, and a decline in worldwide inventories have resulted in surging prices of critical materials and energy. Many of these key materials are at the highest rates in decades. Forecasts for many of these key commodities predict continued tightening of markets and rising prices.

It will apply to all customer categories including domestic, international, and export channel partners, including distributors, retail accounts, manufactured housing, OEMs and end-user customers.

If you have any questions concerning the price increase, please contact your local Eaton Electrical Canada sales office.
