Eaton has vast experience in building custom designed switchboards to meet any application requirement.

With multiple manufacturing locations across Canada, Eaton is available to design product specifically for your provincial or regional requirements. We are able to encorporate our vast array of breakers into a variety of fixed mounted and draw-out switchboard assemblies.

New in 2003 was our 6000A 100% rated service entrance switchboard. This board was developed for those high power applications where splitting the incoming service is not feasible.

Our design teams can provide you with a switchboard layout that will combine both standard and custom product into each line-up. In this way, you are ensured of getting the most cost effective product solution.

Main Features

• Enclosure designs form EEMAC 1 or 1A to 3R or walk-in.
• All structures utilize formed doors with ASA61 Grey finish.
• Optional doors with visi windows in front of the devices
• Open bottom or optional entry plates.
• Single cell shipping splits are standard for ease of handling.
• Numerous widths and depth of structures available.
• Tin plated aluminum or silver flashed copper bus
• Switchboards can be designed to accept ANY main or branch circuit breakers from 15A up to 6000A.
• Can accept Eaton Main and branch fusible switches up to 1200A or Bolted Pressure Switches up to 5000A.
• Built to CSA standards and designed to meet your local provincial and municipal utility metering requirements.
• Numerous incoming designs are available from single Main breaker sections to multiple Main and tie breaker arrangements.
• Eaton has vast experience with Manual or Automatic Main-Tie-Main arrangements.
• Optional Ground fault and protection schemes may be incorporated to meet your project requirements.

• Magnum DS Power Circuit Breakers, Fixed mounted or Draw-out, 800A to 6000A at 600Vac - "100% Rated"
• All Series C fixed mounted breakers up to 2500 amperes, 600Vac maximum.
• All Eaton Type FDP main fusible switches up to 1200A, 600Vac maximum.
• Bolted Pressure Switches up to 5000A

Distribution Devices

• Eaton can accommodate their full line of circuit breakers into a custom line-up including:
• All series C branch breakers up to 2500 amperes, 600Vac maximum
• All Eaton type FDP fusible switches up to 1200 amperes, 600Vac maximum.
• FSMC Switched meter sockets (48"W cell)
• Feeder structures accepting fixed mounted or draw-out breakers
